Volunteer Placement

Hey everyone,

So I just got my volunteer placement. I will be working in Vidya Creches (a school) with children between the ages of 3 and 6. I'm so excited to be able to help and utilize my time here, while at the same time experiencing an entirely new culture and environment. From what I have heard from the other volunteers the school is in the middle of the slums, so that should be very eye opening. But my first day of work is on Monday. We work from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. So very short day. But then we get the rest of the day off to to tour and check out India. Should be amazing and I will let you guys know how it goes! Namaste for now!
